The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
